Description
Abelé is one of Champagne’s oldest Houses founded in 1757. It was served onboard the Titanic which left Belfast on the 2nd April 1912. Interestedly, marine archaeologists have recovered over 7000 artefacts from the wreckage of the ship including a bottle of Henri Abelé Champagne. 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Meunier, of which 15% reserve wines.Instantly approachable, Abelé Brut would make a fine addition to every classic Champagne occasion; a great aperitif, it also marries well with food, especially seafood, including fish and shellfish, and farm delicacies such as rabbit, duck and free-range chicken.
