Château Tour des Termes takes its name from an old tour, or tower, located on a vineyard plot called Les Termes. The origin of this tower dates back to Gallo-Roman times. Remnants of boat moorings from this period suggest that there was once a lighthouse on this site, probably marking the entrance to an outer harbour of the ancient Gallo-Roman town of Brion a few kilometres away. The name “des Termes” means “the end of the land”.
Rich red and black fruit with hints cinnamon and clove from the well integrated oak. Good concentration on the palate with an elegant and long finish.
Enjoy with red and white meats, game, Brie and Camembert cheeses.
